Agua de Piedra Malbec "Gran Reserva"
Pours an inky purple, with aromas of plums and red and black berries.
Delivers an intense wallop of rich berry fruit on the entrance. Finishes
strong and smooth with root spices and a hint of earthiness. The tannins
are enrobed in rich, creamy fruit, and add a lingering silkiness to the
wine. Fabulous concentration for a wine of this price!
Mezzacorona
modern taste, straw-yellow in color,
pleasant bouquet, delicate, fruity, dry in flavor, elegant, and well
balanced.
Wine Enthusiast
This is a pristine albeit easy wine
with clean and compact aromas of stone fruit, yellow flower and zesty
citrus. Genuine and aromatic, this is textbook Pinot Grigio with
pleasing creaminess on the palate. Pair with pasta salad, grilled white
meats and finger foods.
Score: 87. —Monica Larner, November 15, 2007.

The non-vintage Veuve Clicquot is a bracing Champagne,
boasting almond, honey and ginger flavors; appealing texturally, it
firms up on the finish; sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label is a perfect example of harmony between
delicacy and power. Dominated by Pinot Noir, this wine has a firm
structure, rounded with a touch of Pinot Meunier. Nearly a third of
Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse needed for perfect balance.
A blend of fifty crus, mainly Grands and Premiers Crus. Consistent
quality due to 25 to 35% of reserve wines.
